On-Line CAE Prep Course
Since 1998, the CAE prep course from the Michigan Society of Association Executives has demonstrated success with an average pass rate of more than 90 percent. The MSAE program provided through CSAE has helped association executives become CAE’s through online learning; original CAE Study Guide; reading outlines; mock exams, and; CAE Terminology and Key Concepts Flash Cards. Prep course participants can call in from anywhere and all conference calls are recorded for those who are unable to participate at the scheduled time. CSAE 2013 Association Executive Compensation and Benefits Study Available
Conducted in the spring of 2013, the survey measured compensation levels, fringe benefits, personnel practices and benefits practices in 21 states, including Colorado. The 74-page report is presented in two sections, one covering the entire 21 states participating and the other covering only the state of Colorado. More information.
Serving Up Hope Luncheon Raises over $30,000 for Food Bank of the Rockies
Thirteen Colorado hospitality organizations, including CSAE, joined forces November 5 for the 20th Annual Serving Up Hope Luncheon, raising $30,000 for Food Bank of the Rockies. A total of 720 industry professionals from around the state registered for the luncheon. In addition, the annual food drive competition between the thirteen MIC organizations resulted in an additional 26,000 pounds of food was donated by attendees.
Serving Up Hope is sponsored by the Meetings Industry Council (MIC) of Colorado. MIC is a coalition of professional meetings industry-related organizations. Incorporated in 2000, MIC is a partnership between 13 national and local member organizations either founded in Colorado or within state chapters.
The Institute for Organization Management Winter Institute.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, has announced its Winter Institute January 5-9 at the University of Arizona in Tucson. Closely tied to Winter Institute is the Winter Pay It Forward that provides scholarships for incoming first year students for this year. Individuals interested in PIF scholarship should contact the CSAE office. For more information about the Winter Institute visit the Institute Web site.
