CSAE Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting of the Colorado Society of Association Executives will be held at 10:15 AM on May 27, 2016 at the Four Seasons Resort and Residences, Vail, Colorado for the election of candidates for Board of Director positions and Officer positions for the 2016 – 2017 year and for consideration of proposed amendments to the CSAE Bylaws.
Programs on Advising NonProfits
Two upcoming educational programs focus on legal issues involved in non-profit organizations: Primer on Advising Nonprofit Organizations on May 4 and the Institute on Advising Nonprofit Organizations in Colorado on May 5. Both will be presented as live programs and live web cases. They are co-sponsored by the Business and Taxation Law Sections of the CBA, the Colorado Nonprofit Association, and the Colorado Society of Association Executives. Read More.
New Study Identifies Top Concerns of Association Executives.
The top 3 concerns of association executives remain managing information volume members receive, identifying, recruiting and retaining qualified staff, and increased federal regulatory or compliance costs are the top three concerns of association executives according to Looking Forward 2016, an environmental scanning survey and white paper prepared by Association Laboratory, Inc. Previous studies in 2014 and 2015 identified similar concerns. Download the full white paper.
