| The Society
Colorado Society
of Association Executives was founded in 1952 and is the "association of
associations" for more than 250 executives who manage voluntary trade,
professional, educational, philanthropic, technical, or similar type organizations
in Colorado. CSAE is one of the largest allied societies of ASAE in the
West, serving almost 500 members.
CSAE's total membership
is composed of educators, CEOs, and staff executives of international,
national, regional, state, and local organizations, as well as companies
who provide products and services to these associations.
CSAE provides association
management education, information exchange, member services, and issues
advocacy to its members and advances the public service value of association
to the public.
CSAE in principle
and in practice values and seeks a diverse and inclusive membership. There
shall be full participation in this association by all people, regardless
of race, gender, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, or disability. |

| President's
Message
Colorado Association
Leader:
Last year, the
CSAE Board of Directors spent significant time and energy on a strategic
visioning project which, in essence, 'raised the hood' on the organization.
On your behalf, the board reviewed structural processes, determined short
and long range goals, and made the changes necessary for CSAE to become
more relevant, effective and results-oriented. In the coming year, you
will begin to witness the results.
The practical effect
of the effort is one that will position CSAE as the premier resource to
meet the ever changing needs of association executives. CSAE provides the
forum for association leaders to network with others, improve themselves
as individuals, increase their effectiveness and gain new vision, energy
and excitement.
What is the difference
between the time you devote to CSAE and the time spent in most other organizations?
CSAE - more than any other - is the organization that can provide the tangible
and relevant training and education, skill development, peer-to-peer networking,
and career-enhancing personal improvement that will improve your association
today and will benefit you personally into the future.
As a career association
executive and on behalf of CSAE's duly elected Board of Directors, committee
members and staff, I can say with great confidence that CSAE is more than
ready to partner with you, your staff and your organization. Together,
we can provide new trends and techniques, best association practices, cutting-edge
technologies, and association exec to association exec networking in ways
that will constantly confirm our value to you and consistently contribute
to your success.
CSAE - Your career
deserves it!
Tim W. Jackson,
CAE, CMP
