General Policy
The publisher reserves the right to cancel or reject any advertisement at any time, and to add the word "advertisement" at the top of any copy which in the publisher's opinion might mislead the reader as editorial matter. The publisher will not be bound by any conditions printed or otherwise appearing on order blanks or copy instructions when such conditions conflict with the regulations set fourth in the rate card.

Terms of Payment
Payment for any advertisement shall be due and payable at publisher's office. Colorado Society of Association Executives; 2170 S. Parker Rd., Suite 265; Denver, CO 80231. Payment shall accompany ad for insertion in first issue; thereafter, payment is due 30 days from date of invoice. Payment shall accompany classified advertisement.

Short rate, rebate, and rate protection
Advertisers not using the number of insertions on which their rates are based, within 12 months will be short rated for the difference in amount. Advertisers will be rebated if additional space used earns a lower frequency rate than original contract in the form of a credit toward future advertising.

Cancellations
Cancellations are not accepted after space reservation closing date.

Deadline
Six weeks before issue date.

Digital Material Specifications
Media Ads will be accepted on zip or CD disks. Disks must contain all files needed to output the job, and must include a printed directory. All disks and proofs must be labeled and include company and contact name, phone number and issue date. Ads submitted on digital media must be suitable to print as is. Any disk that does not follow the guidelines below will be returned for corrections ¥ or billed to advertiser at $85/hour, based on advertiser's decision.

File Format.
Ads may be submitted (versions up to the following) in QuarkXPress 4.0. Adobe Photoshop v. 4.0.1. Adobe Illustrator v. 6.0 (Macintosh platform). Postscript files will not be accepted.

Fonts
Copies of all fonts used in a job must be provided, including those used within EPS files. Supply screen and printer fonts. Postscript and Type I fonts are encouraged. Bitmapped, True Type, and Multiple Master fonts will not be accepted.

Artwork
A minimum resolution of 300 dpi for all photographs and scanned illustrations. Quark Files-Linear used at 100% should be 600 dpi; used at 50%, it can be 300 dpi; and should not be any smaller than 50%. Use Collect for Output under the File menu to ensure that all images and special preference files are included with the final document.
