  • Review awards criteria
  • Recommend award nominees and promote the awards program
  • Oversee awards ceremonies and other recognition activities

  • Analyzes potential revenue generating programs that fit the mission and vision
  • Recommends partnerships that will provide a cost savings to members

Communication/Executive Memo

  • Determines the editorial content for the Executive Memo
  • Produces articles for the Executive Memo

Executive Retreat Task Force

  • Envision, market, and evaluate a retreat for association leaders
  • Identify, in conjunction with the Professional Development Task Force, association executive education needs that can be met in a retreat setting
  • Recommend speakers, activities, entertainers, etc.
  • Identify unique aspects of retreat destination that can heighten the retreat experience

Golf Tournament Task Force

  • Design and organize annual golf tournament
  • Solicit sponsorships and prizes
  • Promote event to the association community

Membership Development and Retention

  • Arrives early to each Learn with Leaders event to greet attendees, provide badges, and direct attendees to activities. 
  • Contacts prospective and new members, inviting them to events and encouraging their participation.

Mentoring Task Force

  • Develop mentoring program for professional and associate members
  • Match participating mentors with mentees
  • Develop program materials
  • Identify, recruit and train potential mentors
  • Develop follow-up and evaluation mechanisms

Nominations Committee

  • Provide recommendations for elected leaders
  • Receive board input, discuss board composition and qualifications and review timelines for the nominating and election process
  • Review applications, interview candidates, and develop the slate of nominees

Professional Development

  • Identifies critical knowledge needs in association education
  • Recommends education content and potential presenters for CSAE education programs and learning experiences

Public Policy

  • Monitors legislative and regulatory activity that impacts associations and develops position statements and action plans for consideration by the Board of Directors
  • Recommends topic for one Learn with Leaders Luncheon
  • Updates periodically the CSAE economic impact study

Silent Auction

  • Solicits donations for the Annual Silent Auction
