Resume service and job referral
CSAE is committed to assisting association executives with their employment needs. Resumes are kept on file for all association positions from administrative assistant to executive director and are designed to match applicants with positions available in the association field.
Associations looking to fill a position may ask CSAE, at no charge, to search its job bank for possible candidates that match the open position. Or, for a minimal fee, associations may broadcast the job description to members requesting candidate referrals.

Members looking to make a job change may post their resume with CSAE for a six-month period. Resumes are matched with positions posted based on the criteria submitted by the applicant and submitted directly to applying associations.

Do you have a question? Assistance request is designed to provide you with quick answers from other members about a particular issue via a broadcast fax.

Resource library
Located at the CSAE office, the resource library is a collection of current publications on association non-profit management-related topics and resource materials developed and used by CSAE members in their own associations. The ABCs of Association Management
This online program is a basic-level orientation program designed to introduce newcomers or those with less than two years experience to the many functions of association management. The program consists of training in association structure, non-profit law, membership marketing and development, education and credentialing, meetings management, and finance.

Certified Association Executive (CAE)
The Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation is tile most prestigious professional designation for individuals in the association management profession. The CAE program is administered by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). CSAE, as an ASAE-designated agent, conducts orientation sessions and provides mentors and study groups in preparation for the CAE exam.
 

Executive Memo
Executive Memo is the only monthly publication in Colorado that's designed exclusively for this state's association executive. Each month, industry trends, legislative and management issues, and local events are featured, keeping association executives up to date.

Members are encouraged to submit articles to this publication. Each month, The Executive Memo editorial committee reviews and compiles content for upcoming issues. Completed articles should be directed for consideration to CSAE, 2170 S. Parker Rd., Suite 265, Denver, CO 80231.

This enhanced directory lists all CSAE members, both alphabetically and by membership type. General information on CSAE, a calendar of events, resource directory, and buyer's guide, as well as an overview of services and products, make this the most comprehensive directory ever published.

Salary and benefits survey
This biennial survey provides CSAE members with compensation, benefits, and office practices in Colorado. Information is presented in a format that is easy to use when making key association decisions.

Annually, CSAE acknowledges the achievements of association executives and associate members for their untiring efforts. Recognition is given individually to the Association Professional of the Year and the Associate of the Year, as well as the Volunteer of the Year and Outstanding New Professional. The Lifetime Achievement Award is reserved to recognize those members who have made significant contributions over the course of their career. Member associations and associate companies are recognized in the areas of publications, membership, and associate promotion.

CSAE is a strong advocate for associations. As a representative of international, national, regional, state, and local associations located in Colorado, CSAE takes an active role in all government affairs issues that impact the association community and association executives both in Colorado and Washington, D.C.

Additionally, strategic alliances and coalition building with various hospitality and meetings industry groups provide CSAE members with maximum visibility in Colorado.

Joining forces with other hospitality organizations, CSAE members volunteer their time and talents to community service activities throughout the year.
